This is an issue when I brake over a small bump or pothole. It lurches forwad and I feel like I have lost control of the brakes and we are about to crash into the car in front of me. Seems like this is an issue with other Prius years but I thought this was fixed with the v. Anyone else having this problem and what should we do about it?

Yes, just about everyone. Common feeling when transitioning from regen braking to friction braking (in a loss of traction situation). You will get use to it. BTW, don't rush an intersection with a Prius.

The car doesn't lurch forward. It's a momentary loss of braking essentially, very very momentary during transition from regen braking to friction. They've fixed it to where it is shorter but not gone.

just keep your foot on the brake, you'll stop eventually.

It may also be traction control. If one wheel hits a bump and loses a little traction for that split second, the traction control will pulse the brake and give you a sensation that you've stopped braking (almost like a free-fall feeling)

I'm a new Prius v owner and experienced this once so far. Glad to know it is normal.
