For a while I have noticed a slow decreas in me se/ss. When I first got the car, it would turn the inside lights on whenever I approached. Now a days, I can already have my butt in the seat before the lights go on. Also, I used to grab for the handle and the car would unlock, now I can pull the handle a few times before it unlocks.
My cd changer is also broken and my MPG is less than 40 and it is a lot of city driving. I know something is wrong if only with the se/ss, but maybe something more serious.
    Any ideas?

whoa.. sorry to hear of your troubles. Have you gotten it checked out by a dealer yet? All your problems SHOULD be covered by the warranty. do not know about the mileage though...

How many miles on your Prius? and can you describe your driving style? The mileage thing is pretty fickle depending on your driving habits.

wow, sorry to hear about it. did you try changing battery of fob? hopefully it's just that. what's wrong with the cd changer? mileage gets better as you break it in, and like Assagor said, driving habits make a huge difference. as for city driving, it's really hard to get good mileage in short trips (i get mileage in low 40's in city streets - lots of stop lights/ stop signs, hill grades etc.)

I only have 800 miles on the car, so I am not too concerned about the milage thing yet as the car is still being broke in, but all put together it causes me to worry.
The prius has the same reaction with both fobs (I thought maybe one fob was faulty as well).
And my CD changer reads "disc error" whenever I switch to it. I will be having the changer swaped out next week.
It all better be covered under warranty. As of today I have had my car for one month exactly.

Sounds more like some sort of central ECU problem, if you ask my lay opinion.

    Keep us updated!

Take it to back to the dealer. I would think it's all under warranty still. Good luck and please keep us posted.
