I'm thinking about going with a wheelskin install... but having not seen one in person I'm not sure which direction to go. I know I want all black with silver stitching to match the clazzio covers I have on order. I'm pretty sure I want to do the airbag/control plates off install (little nervous about monkeying with the airbag). But I'm not sure about whether to go perforated or not- and if I do all perf or just the sides.

    thoughts? experiences? pictures?

Hmm, don't know about the perforated/regular, but I would recommend against the contrasting stitching color. The wheelskins are a PITA to install and the stitching will be very difficult to get evenly spaced, especially around the side spokes. So contrasting stitching will accentuate any bad stitching and unevenness in the spacing of the stitches. But that's just my opinion. ;)

Why not spend a little more and get piano black or black wood JDM steering wheel instead? Either standard version like the OEM or the Sport version with more aggressive grip and they're perforated already.

In the context of mods (which can run into the thousands), a difference of $100 or less is certainly "a little more."

What would a shop charge to install one of those wheels, swapping over the trim, buttons, etc.?
