Ipod Aux on 2010 Gen III problem.

    I hate to start new posts on things that have already been talked about, but I cannot find a search button, and cannot spend the time to search through all the great stuff on this site. So, I have a 2010 Gen III that I purchased certified from a Toyota dealer 2 weeks ago. I love it so far. However, when using the auxilliary with my ipod, the sound is great in the left speakers, and can barely hear anything out of the right side speakers. Anyone have any suggestions?

    Well, I found the search. Don't know what I was doing wrong earlier. Still looking for thoughts regarding the ipod issue. Thanks.

    There are individual sound settings for each audio input--it could be the L/R setting is off for the aux input.

    Or, could be a bad connector (on the car or iPod). If your earbuds work fine with the iPod, that would limit it to either the car female connector, or a bad cable.

    Earbuds work. Balance does fix the problem. I am taking it to dealership on Thursday. Thanks.
