Can be the EV mode turned on/off sending a CAN command using Sparkfun's CAN-BUS shield?
    Does anybody knows the codes?
( I could not find them in Attila's spreadsheet).

Arduino shield, carduino, and sparkfun may work............some are using the arduino mega 2560......
However there are the followin issues/obstacles, OBD/OBD2, canbus 2, PID, and library for the toyota....

I already have it setup in my car, and it works fine.
I am able read and send commands to CAN.
I was just wondering if I somebody knows the CAN commands to turn EV mode on/off.
The alternative is wire the arduino to EV switch.

Most non USA Toyota Gen2 Pri came without EV switch. A physical mini switch (momentary type) can be wired/spliced into the Gen 2... To get EV up and running has several requirements... Normally at IGN the prius gen 2 ICE will power on to warm cats, recharge HV trac battery. Hybrid Interface has a software force EV with its product. (kinda want one). With Gen 3 you should already have factory oem ,,,,,,,

They are different flavors of CAN/OBD/OBD2
The PID , CAN, and CAN2 libary all vary and not sure if just one software command may possible to get you there for EV
