Husky floot mats and cargo liner for PIP

    Well, since the subject of the thread is "Husky floor mats and cargo liner" and not "I want a rubber mat for my PIP," I assumed that people coming here would want comments related to that particular product. I can't imagine anyone interested in a Husky floor mat for their PiP ducking in here and thinking to themselves..."damn...you're right...I never would have thought of flipping the original mats over..."

    Back to the subject.... Any news on these "new" floor mats?
    If not, what else have you guys used and liked?

    I want to make sure i keep my new pip as pristine as possible.

    Toyota now sells not only fitted rubber floor mats but also a fitted rear rubber cargo area mat, both of which say plug-in Prius. I have them and they all work well. They are pricey though.

    Any updates on the Husky cargo liner?

    As someone mentioned earlier in this thread, I am definitely preferring the model that would cover the back of front seats with the rear seats folded down & seam for the EVSE compartment access.

    Currently, Canvasback cargo jacket seems to be the best fit.

    Rubber mat protection is nice. but not a requirement since I can always put a partial rubber mat if I need one.

    OK 6 months later. Anybody bought the Husky Weatherbeater floor and cargos who can review their quality in the PIP?

    Yes. Had mine for more than 6 months, I think. The quality is durable and it's great when raining. The material is very solid and the grip on the bottom is super grippy. Make sure u get the pip version.

    I just want protection from the occasional gardening stuff. Don't necessarily want a full time liner. Would the oem cargo tray pretty easy to deal with on that basis (foldable or rollable)? Or should I just keep a rolled up tarp in the storage area?

    from my experience, tarp would be a much better idea. OEM tray is definitely neither rollable nor really foldable.

    I had them in my 2012 Prius Five- loved them.
    I've had them in my 2012 PIP since I got in in October. Same quality and excellent fit as I saw in the Five.
    Highly recommended! I've taken them out a few time not and cleaned them off with the garden hose- good as new after that.
