I don't think the tails will stand out as much on your silver car. You may not find them as unattractive as on a darker color. Thanks for the compliment.
I could not find anywhere telling me how to remove these tail lights... Can you post a link and page number or scan in the pages and post them? Any help would be appreciated.
Those tail lights do look much better when the sides match the car paint. I keep looking at mine, silver, but they dont look that bad on a silver car. Just do not stick out like a sore thumb as they do on others. Dan
And for the people that are lazy, don't have time to do it, or don't want to permanently alter their car, they sell this now. Toyota Aqua/Prius C -Â rear garnish Combination
Doesn't that violate US DOT Side Marker Light requirements? But then, you're in the United Secession of Texas.
In 1925 the Federal Code was one volume. In 2008, the code took up 10 shelves in the Library of Congress. I guarantee you can be found to be in violation of something at this moment. Short answer - yes.
I think your tail-light mod looks fantastic. I have a blue P-C, but rather than color the side of my tail-lights to match the body paint, I'm thinking of going black or tinted so it maintains the rear contour of the car as suggested by the blue body panels, but instead of having silver/white plastic tacked on the back, I'm thinking black side-panels (like yours) or dark tinting will make them conform to the look of the dark window glass. Really nice. If you can post any details of how you applied the paint we'd love to hear! (any step-by-step photos?)
Looks good. I purchased the tailight garnish from Japan. The taillights have also been smoked out and matted before installing the garnish.
Thanks! I wanted to make it look like an RC car. I have more stuff to coming. Shipping takes 6-8 weeks from Japan so it will be exciting the next month or so.
