Updated Inverter Coolant Pump?

Toyota parts only good for 1 year? Toyota refuses to warrant their parts for longer than for 12 months!!!!! Do they exchange one "problem part with another of the same?"

Toyoata changed my engine water pump (how many pumps has the 2007 Prius) in Jan. 2011
and today Feb. 2013 the pump is leaking again (I was almost out of coolant).

I found out when changing the oil.
I called Toyota Coonsumer Service and was brushed off with "there may be other reasons, why the part broke down".

I just had it!!!!!

In the winter the Mi per gallon is abysmal, I think consumers should have been made aware of it!

 

Toyota will help (50% of cost approx.) repair again the engine water pump! Everything helps. I wish only not to have to complain in first place.
