I used the Nav in the Prius Three a couple of times. It hasn't been even turned on in 3 months. What a waste. Here's my Garmin. The picture was taken when I first installed the Garmin. Not only does it have much better features, a glance at it is less distracting with respect to keeping eyes on the road.

    Wife's lap :D

We only use it for road trips. For around town, we use the NAV that came with the car.

It would be nice if Toyota would have updates through the internet. :D

Love my Garmin 3790 LMT. CNET rated it as outstanding.

USB flash drive, it'll cost a few bucks (read a ton). On my old Ford, updates were $199 a pop! Don't know if they've issued map updates yet.

I finally did it today! Mounted my Garmin 5" on the steering column in direct eyesight. The factory navigation is such a waste, I now leave that screen on XM.

I bet 10 years from now Garmin units still will be better then the factory units.

    I vote for Garmin.

It really is a weak link, a tarnished spot on Prius shinny armor. For me personally, I got taken for Big $. Basically a rip off.

I'm sure your right! I'm waiting for Garmin to integrate weather Chanel to let you see what weather your heading into in real tie

All OEM units are bad. It is not just Toyota. They lag 4-5 years in technology.

My Garmin gets traffic off an HD radio feed that is very spotty. I wish I could tether my Garmin to the hot spot in my phone for internet based updated and it can send my delays up for others. Garmin does offer this but they want even more money for that. Garmin is not perfect either.
