The last "mud flap" thread was about wind resistance, so I'm putting a different one up.

I found two places to order sets of 4 splash guards/mud flaps today.

    1. ToyotaDepot.com---near Vancouver, B.C.
    Phone: (604) 530-9151
    $42.50 + 12 shipping = $54.50 Cdn. (didn't know U.S. rate)

order online or by phone; VISA accepted

    2. metrotpn.com---Metro Toyota in Cleveland, OH
$43 + shipping, but wouldn't reveal shipping unless I entered debit card #

I bought a set on ebay for $31 plus $10 shipping:

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NEW-OEM-MUD...itemZ8030056807

    It's an auction so YMMV.

    I Agree with Galaxee

I had my mud guards Port installed for $79. No shipping or installation costs, plus they're included in the vehicle warranty. I considered self-installation until I read about removing/reinstalling part of the inner fender liner and having to "drill" some holes. No, thank you.

I even got a few hundred $$ discount on my car, so maybe I really got the mud guards for free.

Huh. Save money; bond with your car by getting down and dirty. Seems like a win-win to me. :D

I hear that the drilling is minor and only through plastic. Guess I'll find out when I do the instalation.

Three local dealers do not carry and say they cannot get them. I went back through past threads. There was an aborted "group buy" here in the spring of '04, and about 25 members wanted them. That's why I put up this thread, because with so many new owners and the wet season, I knew someone would be thinking about them.

hmm. must be a SET thing then. DH's employer had them in stock, had to wait for the bra to be shipped in from your state.

metrotpn has a good rep around here, and coastal does sell them if you're willing to take the gamble on their shipping times.

i just checked toyotapartsstore.com and they don't offer them. i'd check ebay like jacaufie mentioned. sounds like you could pick up a good deal there. :)

    I just ordered mine from:

    http://sigmaautomotive.com/jdm/prius/prius0405.php

They were $49 + shipping. I should be receiving them any day... probably install them this weekend and I will let you know how it goes. Looks pretty easy to me. Edward @ sigmaautomotive was very quick with answers to my emails and shipped them immediately. I even paid with PayPal.

My dealer in Pensacola, FL stocks them at less than $40.

The install is trivial - see here

I'm in Hawaii and have had good service with Toyota Of Melbourne Florida. They have a website but their phone is (321)254-8888. Just got the mud flaps ($36.11) and the back bumper protector (the black one, $23.43), shipped UPS ground ($10.00). Fast service, good people to deal with. Used a credit card.

No, I hate the things, but at O'dark thirty when I'm forced to use it I'll look up at the sky and smile. :D

I'm looking for them too, Jack. Looks like Toyota Of Melbourne Florida is the winner here! No auctioning, and GREAT price.

I think Deland Toyota/Scion offers them on eBay, with BIN of $40 and shipping of $8.50. I paid them the 'required' $79 for the mudguards installed on the car at port.

And when you use you use the jack, you realize- if I have a flat, maybe I should put some plastic in to throw the old dirty tire on in the trunk....I just put a drop cloth in so I did not mess up my nice trunk mat...

Does anyone paint them the color of their car- or are they all black? (mudflaps, not tires). grin.

Use the discount coupon "priusowners" and get another 5% off the order. (Found on another site, but I should I would share)
