about 3 weeks after getting my PIP. Until I can charge at work I'll never get impressive fuel economy in it so now I just turn on the heated seat and drive. The PIP is so much more pleasant to drive than my previous 2012 Three. I do miss my Clazzio seat covers though. The SofTex isn't as nice.

What do you like so much better in the PIP?

The adjustable seats, the LED headlights, the heated seats, the ride, power feels smoother, Entune works better, etc..

It's not so much that it is a PIP but it is simply an upgraded model. Although if I drove more short trips the EV part would be outstanding. Even so, my around town trips are gas free which feels awesome!

Saweet :D I bought one of those $89 Harbor Freight gas generators last summer to run lights in our storage locker when we are workin in it :)

You might be able to use a bunch of fold up solar arrays that should fit in the hatch area. Get to the job site and unfold 'em and get a charge as long as the clouds stay away or the foxes don't steal your panels because they looked cool :D

My Priou has adj seats, led lights, heated seat, certainly smooth......locally most of local MPGs are very high. Entune omg needs a lot of work. It sounds like your GPS, Entune, and some features are a bit more techie, that part I'm jelious of. I love techie stuff.

    If I am alone, NEVER!

If I am with my wife, it's when she says "you are driving like an old man!" :( But, I still use certain techniques!!!

I have a 12 volt battery pack I bought at Sears. There are different sizes -- you charge it at home and once fully charged it might have enough to put some extra juice into pip at work. Just a thought.

Yup. Some of us embraced & encouraged the "Just Drive It" advice way back in 2004.

I don't spend much time worrying about getting the best mileage but I do try to get the best mileage each trip and tank.
Not hypermiling would be boring to me. It is also addicting. Maybe someday I will get bored of it.
The way I drive now is safer then the way I use to drive, which was very aggressive and fast.

Edit - Wanted to add....I don't hypermile much or at all when I have other people in my car.
They don't like it too much. :D
