    Hi All,

Kind of a lame question. I am a new owner of a 2004 Prius. The drivers side lower grill was missing when I purchased the car. The fog light is there and was dangling from it's wiring harness. I pushed it back into it's receptacle but I didn't hear or feel anything that tells me it's installed properly. I have the factory service manual, but it's not clear how the light is held in place.

Any first hand experience on how it's installed? It seems to be in as it has been driven ~2000 miles since I pushed it into it's receptacle. I just want to make sure it's in correctly before I install the lower grill.

    Thanks in advance.

    Roger

    Hey Roger,

If I'm not mistaken, the gen2 fogs have tabs on them that just snap into the bumper.

Thanks Sean. I just didn't hear or feel any kind of confirmation that it was in place. It looks like it is in the socket and appears to be aligned. I guess I will install the grill and see what happens.

Give it a slight tug......if it pulls out take a look at the tabs on the fog housing & on the bumper.
