I just got the Prius , and spilled some almonds on the passenger seat. The dust particles remain even after vacuuming, so I'm surprised how easily the cloth holds onto the particles.

I was considering getting a Bissell. Has anyone used the Bissell ProHeat cleaners to clean the interior cloth of the Prius?

    I'm looking at either:

BISSELL Little Green ProHeat Compact Multi-Purpose Deep Cleaner, 14259

    -OR-

BISSELL Auto Care ProHeat Compact Multi-Purpose Deep Cleaner, 14254

Any advice would be greatly appreciated! I plan to purchase in the next 2 days.

I mainly use Zep Upholstery cleaner for most stains. I get it at Home Depot. For really bad stains I use Zep then a small steam cleaner (Little Green Machine). I never had any problems with my GenII Ivory interior. I have not tried it on my GenIII interior.

I see, thanks for the info! I've wondered how the upholstery would hold up to extraction cleaners, but seems to be gentle enough from what I've read of Bissell. I've also got the Bissell Big Green Machine, which I give it a try on the interior to see if the suction power is enough to get rid of the dust!

If you were local I'd just let you use my little cleaner so you didn't have to buy a new one. Try the Zep cleaner first though. It kept my Ivory interior like new for almost 160k miles!

I purchased this from Bed Bath and Beyond, with their 20% off coupon. Works great. Now worries.

Sorry guys for posting in old thread but I am looking for single cleaning product for carpets and upholstery. Is it possible? Please share your cleaning methods and products as my car interior needs serious cleaning session
