I have been able to sync the phone to the Bluetooth JBL Navigation system, but am unable to play the music on my phone through the Bluetooth car speakers. I spoke to ATT support and they said Prius had an "update" to make the JBL sync with music on the new Galaxy Note phone. It won't work with either a cable or by pushing the auxiliary button on the nav system. It worked with my I-Phone. Prius delear said they knew nothing about this. Does anyone know more or how to get my music to play?

    Thanks

Probably not much help but let me tell you my experience.

Although it's on a TCH, I have the JBL and a Galaxy Note so my experience may help you...?

First off, look at it from the car standpoint. Go to the JBL, "Media" and make sure that you "Connect". You should be able to get confirmation from the JBL "Bluetooth".

From the phone standpoint, go to "Settings" then "Bluetooth" then "Paired Devices" (which should have a line for "Car Multimedia" and make sure that both the Phone as well as the Multimedia checkboxes are set.

Once done this, go back to the JBL and redo number 1 above.

If all else fails, unpair and pair again.

BTW, my Note works with several versions of Android, all the way to 4.2.1. It even worked on ParanoidAndroid's 4.2.2 based on AOSP but I couldn't get the name, artist and album information on the JBL so I reverted back to 4.2.1. This worked previously with 4.0.x as well.

    Good luck.
