I am intriqued at the large number of posts by some great posters. I wonder how long it took them to increase their log number and where they might have been, post number wise 3 months ago, etc. Just enter your Posts: # that appears at the date and time you posted this comment. I like the date and # miles driven, cool. I will start: Posts: 18:welcome:me, 11-3-08, 109,500 miles Thankyou big hitters, go high or low, but don't go home. Can we see the lower or middle numbers also?? Milestones...
I used to post alot at work. I don't have as much free time now that I'm unemployed. I'm somewhere around 2700? 2621
I've been away for too long. Thanks for the posts! It is amazing how active you guys are. Maybe it is our amazing cars that spurs you on to write. I am now at 35 Posts, 2004 Prius mileage: 179, 240 miles. I am torn between seeing my prius make the 300,000 mark without any major repairs or getting the new plug-in Prius of which I want to sign up for. Maybe I will just have to have two Prius collection.
I'm almost 5k more now. I have another job where I cannot post or even look at PC while at work. They monitor web use and email use and it is against policy to use email for any reason that is non-work related.
Where I work, they finally relaxed the policy enough to allow "de-minimus" use of the Internet for personal reasons. Meaning, during break time or lunch time (personal, in other words), I can BRIEFLY glance in my personal email, or look up something not directly related to work, and I'm allowed to listen to Internet radio stations. I'm still not coming to PC, though, as discussion boards, chat rooms, and any sort of political/social activity is not within policy bounds. Facebook is severely frowned upon, as well. So, drop me an email - I may see it!
Although we can browse to online newspapers, social networking sites are blocked in our browser. Email and internet use is audited on a quarterly basis. It is ok, I'm usually very busy at work and don't have time to check PC anyway. I look at PC on evenings and weekends now.
Just a few posts ago for me, Tom has been pecking the keyboard some as well as a few others. I have only progressed from post 18 to 43 today. Still have my 2004 Prius Opt9 and was putting the miles on, now at 234,000 miles, just last week finally am enjoying 50+ mpg as my first step to better gas mileage.
