    Hello,
By now all have received their plates and/or spoiler. To help others I think we should put opinions about the perceived change in ride quality here in one thread.

NO Corrosion, etc., comments. They are covered elsewhere.

I have received both. They look very nice.

I just installed the plate. After a fairly winding drive, Rte 1 between Malibu and Oxnard, and some city driving my opinion is that the plate obviously helps roll control.
My car has had no directional problems previously and none now--(happy to say).

Spoiler on soon. Will comment after test.

I received both, took the car out for a pre-run test so I could compare the before and after.

Then installed both the spoiler and the plate. The installation took maybe 1/2 hour of time, if that.

Then, took it back on the road to test and have to say there was an major difference in handling. Today was a major storm out here in the Bay Area, usually going over the Richmond bridge I get tossed around quite a bit (which was the major reason for getting the spoiler). This morning, it was like any other day driving to work and I could see other cars having issues on the road and road drift for larger vehicles.

Not saying I did not feel some strong gusts, but from the months before of driving in strong winds on the Richmond & Golden Gate bridge, it was a 'significant' difference between having it and *not* having it installed.

So - yes, I think it was worth it, for both the plate and the spoiler.

<_< I'm not very happy with my spoiler so far, mainly because it didn't stay on. The adhesive started releasing on the sides within the first two miles and I soon had to remove it to keep from losing it. I followed the directions exactly so I am puzzled. I emailed the manufacturer after it happened but so far haven't heard a peep. Anyone else have this problem?

What email address are you using? I typically respond to most emails very quickly so I have a feeling that you are not using a good email address.

When you applied your spoiler did you use the pre-packaged Primer 94 bottle? What was the outside temperature when you attempted to install your spoiler?

We have a repair kit to address the issue that you are having but I need some details in order to help you out. Please feel free to call me or email at the number listed below.

    Thanks!!

I sent you the message below through email but, as I have not heard from you yet, thought I would try this route.

I appreciate your prompt response. It's been a few days since I checked plus I had a hard time finding my own post (?) until I found a helpful utility.

Yes, I used the primer and waited about 15 minutes before trying to stick the spoiler on. I guess it was 40-45 degrees out. Initially all seemed just fine with a high degree of adhesion. I waited until the next day before driving, and that's when it almost popped off. Suggestions? thanks.

I installed my plate just after the first of the year, and drove that way for a week. It made a Huge difference in how stable my car feels - my prior car was a VW Golf, which while not a true sports car did well on the road. After installing the spoiler, my Prius is the equal of the VW on the highway, if not better around trucks. Yes, you still feel crosswinds, it's a high-profile vehicle. But the combo of plate and spoiler make it a much better road car than it ever was stock. Definitely worth the price.

You want the plate. I speak from experience. You NEED it now. I feel that it saved my butt.

For proper adhesion the temperature needs to be at least 70 degrees, no wonder its falling off.
