How much did you pay for your Prius v?

Last week I was shopping for a Prius v Five with the AT pkg. and was quoted $3,500-$3,800 discounts on 2012 models.
I ended up buying a 7 month old demo with 9300 mi. 2012 v Five, AT, Blizzard Pearl, two sets of floor mats, all weather and carpet plus the cargo mat. Also included in the deal was the 3M clear bra.
I paid $28,594, $9,200 off the window sticker price.

 

We just bought a v, 5 with a few extras like rear bumper guard, mud flaps, rubber floor mats....
Paid $3150.....

 

Seriously, without knowing about any trade-in, or if the purchase was for cash vice loan subsidies, how/what does a sale price tell?

 

But a low sales price with poor trade in value could be the same net to the dealer as a higher sales price coupled with a higher trade in. And I've never not been asked if I needed financing, which could subsidize the selling price. Or am I not understanding how the game is played?

Got my 2012 V3 last June 12' for little over 27k. Had to wait 2 months for it to show up from Japan though. I put over 4500 miles between 2 loaner 2012 Camry's from the dealership while Toyota stalled to bring the car from overseas to meet orders.

 

I'm looking at the V 5 and got a quote for $3,400 off sticker of $31,155 - base V 5 with no options. That puts it at $2,225 below invoice. Now what to do with my current 2010 Prius IV with 48,500 miles. Dealer only want to allow me the lease payoff and I have to pay overage on miles - about $630. I think I can do a little better....

 

Bought a brand new 2013 V 5 three weeks ago for 58.775$

And in Norway where I live that´s a very good price.

But should have waited a few days....as now 0% for 60!

 

Sunday - 13 P V - Five - ATP - Remote Start - Bumper Applique - I don't have the window sticker, but I think we had to pay for floor mats also, unless they come with the car? I don't remember if other options were added but we went home with the car @ $35,688 + TTL.
