I recently purchased weathertech front n back window visor for 2012 3rd Gen prius from Prius shop. But today while i was driving my rear passenger side vent visor fell off on the road  So I thought to check the driver side and found out that it was loose to0 so i took it off. Now i am left with only driver side vent visor on the rear door.
Thought I followed the installation instruction, but it also came with 4 clips and a metal stick and I tried to learn and install accordingly but was not able to as the instruction was unclear and so were the figures so I decided to just stick the vent visor inside as they came with the tape and then let the windows closed for 3 days and today when i opened it just fall off. Does anyone have a proper installation guide for them? Or if they have succesfully installed them? when i checked online on their website they mentioned to stick it inside with the supplied tape.
    thanks
And I must say I really like the new forum interface... its cool:)

The installation and instructions for the front visors is straight forward. The instructions for the rear visors could definitely be better. I installed a set years ago on my 2006 Prius, and a new set this morning on my 2012 Prius IV. The curved tool is for pulling a section of the rear door weather strip out of the window channel a little so you can insert the clips (2 per side). The weather strip has a lip along the inside edge - the clip flat side hooks down inside that lip so that the curved side of it winds up facing down the outside of the door. Below is a quick and dirty diagram to illustrate what I mean:

Once the clip is inserted (I spaced mine roughly 5.5" in from either end), the weather strip is pushed back into the channel. Once the clips are in place, the visor is carefully inserted between the outside weather strip and the curved side of the clip. Hope this helps.

I did try that but it was so hard to put those clip back into the window channel with the weather strip so i thought i am doing something wrong and left it. So the clips need to be pushed into the channel pretty firmly i guess because they won't even budge in, did u use a heavy tool to insert them into the channel back? i am just afraid to break anything.
And thanks so much for the diagrams... its the dirty picture :)

No tools required. It should all go back together snug with just pressing back into channel by hand. If it is not going back, perhaps the clips you have are damaged. They have to press into the channel with just enough play so the visor can be slid between them and the weather strip. If they are so tight that they won't fit back into the channel, pushing the visor in would not be possible.

I just installed these on my 2012 Prius. I first followed the written directions and had no luck. I then tried installing them without the clips, but they were loose. I then searched this site and found a useful diagram for installing them for older Prius's, but the design of the clip wasn't the same. Perhaps they have changed them for newer models. I ended up pulling down the weather stripping and inserting the flatter end into the inner channel of the weather stripping. I then pushed them into place but then had problems getting the deflectors to snap in. I found that the solution was to insert the deflector in between the stripping and the clip before I pushed the clips back in, and then slowly push everything in place. Then from the inside fully snap the clips and the stripping securely into the channel. It seems to all be in place correctly, but I have yet to drive with them on. Hopefully they don't fly off!!! You would think WeatherTech could provide correct instructions with the deflectors.
