I am new to Prius Chatline and don't know how to post so if you can give me some insight I would appreciate it. I'm looking for a used right front fender liner for my 2010 Prius. I live within the Minneapolis/St. Paul area. I was told a year ago that I needed one but was also told by the dealer that the only damage that may occur if I didn't replace it was that over time my windshield wiper fluid parts might get corroded. I chose not to replace it and have been looking unsuccessfully for a new one. Just had my Prius in and the ABS system has malfunctioned. Corroded wires and speed sensor were placed on that side and now the dealer service dept. says it's the ABS Actuator failure that costs $3218 for the part. I have chosen not to have it repaired and go without ABS breaks for now. I have 85,000 miles on it and bought it as a certified toyota used vehicle with 42,000 miles 2 years ago. Any insight would be helpful. Thank!

Welcome aboard! Sorry to hear about the issue... that liner should have been replaced.

Have you tried wrecking yards in the area? There are many on-line places like parts.com where you can get OEM parts like half price.

I have a couple of friends in the parts business looking for me. I'll check out the website you mentioned. Picked up my vehicle from the dealership service dept on Thursday and the speedometer didn't work. They had to reset a sensor and picked it up Friday and now the cruise doesn't work. Are there dealerships in the twin cities area that know how to work on a prius? This dealership was in Maplewood, MN.

Wow, sorry to hear about all the problems. There have been others that had problems with the display in the past but it wasn't related to the ABS and such. Hopefully other members will have recommendations for you.
