Pretty simple question: If a dedicated PriusChat iOS & Android app was available, would you use it?

    Additional questions:
    1. Would you pay $0.99 for it, or want it included in a Premium membership?
    2. Would you want a mileage database integrated into it?
    3. Any other suggestions for what should be a part of a PriusChat app other than forum access?

Sure, I'd use it. Make sure it has moderation abilities built within it preferably though Danny, if that would be possible.

I'd mainly use it for viewing new posts, moderating while using it and as an easy way to track miles driven vs gallons used at each fill up since it'd be a quick easy input into my iPhone as I have it on my person most of the time.

I'd also like to see it included with premium membership rather than only available for a buck in the App Store/google play.

Perhaps one other feature of the app can be a guide showing packages, colors etc offered for each model year of Prius and have a way to compare two model years side by side. Just a thought...

    Danny,

As a user of an android phone, I would love the app. I would gladly pay $0.99 for it.

Having a mileage database in it would be awesome. Have a great day!!:)

    1) I wouldn't use it--TapaTalk serves my current needs.
2)If it had a good mileage database built in and my Prius was still my daily driver, I'd be glad to pay for it, particularly if it had superior functionality to TapaTalk and $.99 is fine.
3)If you build it, I'll buy it...simply b/c I can't resist that sort of thing, but probably wouldn't use it much.

If it had Torque or similar app for iOS I would buy it. Otherwise, what's the point?

I'm a cheapskate so I wouldn't pay for it. The safari interface on my iPod leaves a lot to be desired. But I suffer through it instead of paying for tapatalk.

I propose you make the program free for basic forum functions like reading and replying to posts and notifications.

Then have premium functions for paying members for searches, file attachments, mileage tracker, etc.

"Free" increases traffic to the forum and that is always a good thing. It's simpler to have one program in the App Store. Only with your login do the extra functions show up. This makes it so that you do not compete with tapatalk as well.

I use Iphone and Android devices. If the App is well written for both platforms, count me in!
Money, if the works, it's worth it!
Support for PriusChat, always worth it!

Android with the default browser in desktop mode works perfectly fine.

My biggest complaint with the site as-is, is that when I browse on my phone in "normal" mode (i.e. not spoofing desktop browser meta data) you get a huge banner that covers the top portion of the screen saying there is a tapatalk application available. I don't care about it, I am never going to buy it, and it appears EVERY TIME a page is loaded. I can't kill it and makes for a horrible user experience.

I'd get it for 99 cents. iPad and iPhone version would be perfect.

Color me mildly interested. If it was available to us unwashed masses for 99 cents, I would probably get it just because. It should be included at no extra cost in a Premium membership, might help sell more Premium memberships.

I don't know if I would use it for mileage since I have finally become a loyal user of fuelly and wouldn't like having to input that into two different applications. I don't know if enough people would use it to make it worth your while. I haven't bought an app in so long, but I guess it would work on the Kindle fire, so I would be game.
