I am helping my mother buy a Prius this weekend. She just wants the basic model, with no frills.
Pretty much the cheapest one we can buy. I am in Dallas TX. Anyone know how they have been selling? Above or below sticker? Any good deals out there? I see 0% financing, which is terrific. Thanks.

I'm new to Prius so I don't know much, but I bought a 2013 Two last week for $21,995. It was another $360 for the Administrative stuff so it was $22,355 out the door. I also got the 0% financing through Toyota. Untrue to form, I bought this car "on a whim" because it seemed like an easy, good deal.

    Good luck, hope this helps!

I don't see taxes included, so it would be more like $24k OTD to us Californians.

If she doesn't care, a Prius C one can be had for around $19k, 0%

Thinking she just wants the basic old fashioned Prius, but we'll take a look a the c.
Her only request is that she have seat warmers, not sure if that can be had on the Two.
Hoping they are selling under sticker. Thanks all.

I live in NH so no sales tax (don't get all excited, they make up for it in propery taxes, trust me on that!)

So cool, glad to know I got a good deal. I went to look at certified pre-owned and they were all 3 years old with 40k on them for like 19 grand. Right when I pulled in I saw the "special of the day" with balloons and writing on the windshield. It had a big $21,995 right on the windshield. I said "why would I buy one of these used ones for 3 grand less than a new one??" Salesguy said "I don't know". I didn't even try to haggle, just wrote it up. I even wanted to go look at fits, civics, the new hybrid fords, etc, but I didn't, I just bought it. I really like it too.

    Nerd,

If she just wants warmers, they can probably be installed by a local interior guy. It will be much cheaper than moving up trim levels just for warmers. I ended up getting leather thrown in as part of the deal in a car that I bought once, because I didn't want to move up on trim levels. The quality was much nicer than the factory too. A local guy stripped the factory seats and put leathe AND warmers in.
