I am shopping for a 2013 Prius c Two and wanted to know if it was possible to "order" the OEM 15" alloy rims from Toyota or aftermarket shop (the ones available on the Three/Four trims)? Toyota lists them as a $400 option, is it something the dealer could do?

The dealer should be able to order it for you. The c in Australia comes with cool wheels that I want to order.

    Aren't the alloy wheels 16"?

Only on the Four, which has a different steering rack if you get the 16s.

15" alloys are an option on all trim levels.

Had no idea. Do they look like the 16" only offered on the c4?

I got them as an option for my Three, and they look like this:

Technically, I think they are only an option on the Three and Four trim levels.
Which is why I was asking if the dealer/aftermarket could order them for a Two trim level.

Okay, I see. They also look like the 16 inch rims that are offered on the C 4. Didn't know they had the 15 inch version.

They, in fact, are only options on the 3/4.

I misremembered this! I was originally considering the Two when I bought my c last year, decided on the Three instead to get the smart key and other features, then added the alloy wheels and moonroof.

You may well find that a dealer wants full retail for alloys on the Two, which will be considerably more than the $390 option price. Worth checking around, or consider aftermarket alloys.

For gosh sakes don't order the Toyota wheels unless you love handling out money. The aftermarket has a wealth of wheels and tires at lower prices. . Start with tirerack.com to get details on the tires and wheels. Check discounttire and other internet sources, too.
You want 15" wheels at 6" or 7" rim width, 4x100 BC, 40 to 45 mm offset. Tires 195/55x15 is a good choice in whatever kind you want : winter, all-season, summer, treadwear, performance, inexpensive, style, whatecver floats your boat. Yeah, don't get truck wheels and tires either.

The OEM rims are 5" width. If you want to use the stock tires and stay with stock wheel dimensions as much as possible, the aftermarket doesn't offer anything close to the stock width.

There are tons of 15x5.5 wheels on the aftermarket... the OEM tires will fit that with no problem.

I entertained getting extra OEM wheels when I was shopping for snow tires. They have them, but the price...

Try parts.camelbacktoyota.com. They list OEM 15" alloys for the 2012 Prius C for $255.74 each. That's about $100 less than list. Still lots more than if they came on car. I bought OEM trim rings for my 2006 from them at considerably less than my dealer charged and shipping was included.

Thank goodness the aftermarket wheels are 6 or 7" width and the 15x6 is a great choice for your 15" tires too. Judst stick with 40 to 45 mm offset and the ones you like the look. The reason OEM is 15x5 is the 175/65x15 tire; check the recommended rim width for the 195 width tires at tirerack.com
