Seventeen Days In

Hello. My wife and I got our 2012 Prius III certified used from out local dealer on May 11. Coincidentally, that was my birthday, but unrelated. Our old workhorse of a car, a 1997 Escort that'd we'd had since college, finally died. We were planning on getting a Prius next summer, but that got moved up a bit as we're a one-car family.

Here's the lady taking ownership of our new vehicle. I've read the manual through and have fiddled around with about everything on the nav screen. Already enjoying the great mileage Feeling out the level between smooth acceleration and annoying the drivers behind me.

 

Two fill-ups so far: 48.8 and 49.9 MPGs. A bit more learning and I hope to get it above 50 regularly. These are manual calculations, a bit lower than the ones given by the car.
