Hi all new to this but need some help to find out what the plug underneath my Prius is for. I have a flat auxilliary battery to change and discovered the plug underneath the car. It is a 2004 Prius and the plug is the type you would use on a campsite here in the Uk (three pin Cirular black) If anyone knows what its for i would love to hear from them

    Thanks

    Andrew

Does it have a trailer hitch?
Could be the connector for trailer lights.

Hi there. No there is no towbar or anything like that although it is that type of socket.

Hi there. It is at the back of the car just off centre and it is quite inaccessible not the sort of thing you could actually use without getting down on the floor under the car!
