changing the console cover on the prius v

    maybe i said it wrong, i maybe shouldn't have said screw driver. use something very thin like a metal nail file. use a few so you can leave them in the seam as you go around separating the pieces. good luck.

    SUPER---JUST GREAT AND EVEN THE PHOTO'S ( 3 OF EM) CAME THRU GREAT.....I WAS AFRAID TO SNAP SOMETHING OFF...BUT THE CLIPS ARE VERY OBIVIOUS....

    For mine, I went to a local upholsterer that does work for the Toyota dealership I bought the car from. They charged me $30 and recovered it with leather, and added just a bit more padding. I'm pretty happy with the end result:

    when i told my friend at the dealership that i changed the cloth to naugahyde, he wanted to know why i did it. i said if he didn't know i couldn't explain it to him.

    For those looking to DIY, I went to the local carpet store and asked for scrap/samples of the under carpet padding, then went and asked for scrap at the fabric store and searched around for a matching grey.
