The amount of Prii in Los Angeles.

    I am visiting LA for 2 weeks and I have been here for a full 24 hours. I have been counting the Prius c. So far today I saw 28 Prius cs. I lost track of how many regular Prii I saw.
    I knew the Prius line was popular out here but DAMN I see a Prius every minute ( no joke )

    Yeah. I live in LA and love that the Prius C is still a special find among the gazillion Prius liftbacks. Probably won't last too much longer. The word is out.

    Haha we can see Prii anywhere. And most of us should have got the "5 millions sold in the world" label though it's not a badge.

    there are 4 c's within 2 blocks of me. Last week, at the carwash there were 6 Prii, mine was the only c.

    The liftback is fairly popular where I live, and I spot a v at least 1x per day. Don't see a lot of C's yet though.

    Nice! I've only been paying attention over the last month and a half but in the NYC Metro area I've only seen 4 C's so far. 3 Habaneros and 1 grey. Lots of liftbacks and V's though. Especially taxis!

    Yes my New York friend told me there are lots of Prius Taxi there. Like here in San Francisco of CA. Prius and Camry. Those Escape all gone laa.

    I don't personally see too many Prii C, but I see a ton of the regular Prii and Prii V.
    Maybe California is Hybrid Nation headquarters? hehe :)

    When I drove to L.A from Seattle in the rental Prius, I was shocked as well regarding the amount of Prii down there. Here in Seattle and Bellevue, WA, there are numerous Prius taxis, many of which are Gen II with 200K miles on them. My coworker rode in a Prius taxi with 450K miles on it.

    Saw sooo many HSD powered taxis in Spain (and travelled in a few). Not all were Prii... pretty sure I saw some Auris hybrids as well, though I could be wrong.

    Of course there are no c's in Europe - I did see a Yaris hybrid parked near my hotel in Madrid, but I didn't like the look of that at all. Was very happy to get home to my lovely c. :love:

    I still don't see *that* many Cs here in Vegas, but the numbers seem to be going up steadily. On the other hand, I can't drive a full mile down the road without seeing several liftbacks. Just last night on my way home from work, I found myself stopped at a red light with THREE silver liftbacks surrounding me! One on either side of me and one behind me (two Nevada plates, one California). Even more stunning was the fact that all three were the exact same year (identical tail lights, anyway).

    I was just down at Socal and from what I saw, there are less Prius's down there than Norcal.. so if you think there are a lot down there.. you should see Norcal. I think they are less popular in Socal due to aggressive driving culture.

    I was up in LA over the weekend and there are definitely LESS C's (and Prii overall) in the OC/Anaheim area, than there are down here in SD!
