    hey everyone..

i am from Pakistan and own a toyota prius imported from japan..

been using it since last 10 months and was totally in love with this car..

but recently, an error showed up on MFD as well as the engine checklight came on. all this happened after a while, when i started the car one fine the morning..

    car stats:
    model: 2008
    mileage: 123300Km
bought at 92000Km and was trouble free till now..

atm, i cant identify whats causing the warning lights to come on and hence, require your help..
i am attaching the pics below..

those who have seen any such warnings please tell me what to do about it.. the toyota ppl here dont have the technical knowledge to deal with such problems since they havent launched prius in PAK yet though they are planning to next year.. till then, am totally on my own..

Note: i drove around 600km on highway the day before all these warnings came up..

also, can anyone please tell me whats actually this warning is about.... cant read japanese.. :/

Does the car go into Ready Mode? If so, remove the cap from the inverter fluid holding tank and look for turbulance. If there is none, you may have a failed inverter pump. That is what I experienced with the same warning lights.

    yup, right on the spot..

i connected OBD tool for error codes and it turned out to be P0A93..

most probably, the pumps got over heated because i drove continuously fr 600km where peak temp reached even 50 degree Celsius..

unfortunately, the toyota dealership doesnt deal with prius here n i'll be changing the pumps myself so can anyone plz suggest A walkthrough/DIY procedure for the job??

plus, anyone knows the serial/ part no so that i can order it from japan or somewhere??

How to Replace the Inverter Coolant Pump | PriusChat

You'll need to determine whether the part number for the inverter coolant pump in your car is the same as used in the North America LHD model. The part number is not marked on the pump.

Glad you found it. While you're doing the work, I highly suggest you change your Transaxle Oil. Under those conditions, and on a used car especially, this will help keep your transaxle happy. That would be one repair that you probably wouldn't want to do...
