how does this deal sound? 2010 prius II 109k miles

    Semi-local dealership (toyota dealer not used car dealer) has a 2010 Prius package 2 for $13,999. their only fees are 89$ doc fee + tax title registration. I talked with the salesman and told him that i thought 12k seemed like a fair price...he went back and said OK we can do that. im a bit leery of a salesman accepting an offer off the bat - its telling me im offering too much. i honestly went in thinking 12k would be a price im willing to pay. i checked out the ownership history and it must have been highway driven to get this many miles this quickly. interior looks very nice and so does body, its a 1 owner car.

    Opinions? Only downside is the color... barcelona red. id prefer blue, silver or white...

    Sounds high to me. Have you looked up value online with kelly blue book? I almost bought a used prius around same mileage...few years back. It was much less 6,000 or 7,000.00 but it was a gen 2 just after gen3 arrived. Im sure some folks on here could say for sure. I would look around local and compare what other dealers are selling simular cars for.
