Goes to show, you can't make things totally id10t proof. A better id10t will always show up sooner or later. SCH-I535
At first, I thought maybe the photo was flopped (left/right). Then I noticed the taillights. If this is a Prius PHV, then it must be a 2010 prototype with the charge port on the left front fender. By the way, she seems to be unscrewing the gas cap with her left hand, in preparation for filling up with electrons. Yikes!
If it was a photo used in an article them it was probably flipped deliberately - for countries that write right to left, people tend to "read" photos the same way. Since they will also identify first with the person in the photo, it is best to have them on the left. "This is a person (like me) plugging in a car" is a more gripping story than "This is a car being plugged in by a person".
No, the rear wiper is in the wrong place if picture is flipped. The charge door flap is missing the black plastic cover insert. No one in their right mind would stick their fingers into an electrical socket. Her left hand was going for the fuel cap. I'm guessing they didn't have a PiP and tried to fake it.
Amazon is using that image, perhaps originated from there. Leviton EVB22-3PM Evr-Green 160 Home Charging Station, 3.8kW output, Level 2 - Amazon.com
....and what is she grasping with her fingers inside the port? If it was the charge port- there's nothing to grab in there.
Yep, that would be the correct term, I'm sure. Did not the Bard himself say "Friends, Romans, countrymen, open thy flaps, I come to charge my Prius, not to bury it." I think that's proof positive
