I have an 05 Prius and I am familiar with the Traction Control feature. I am probably mistaken but I can't find reference to it as a feature on 06 models. The VSC feature is clearly noted on the Prius web site, but not TC. Is it no longer used?

No. I think Toyota's getting lazy.

I'm looking at the 2007 Camry specs sheet (printed and final spec to be confirmed of course) and it mentions nothing of traction control but it does mention stability control.

It's there and here's the reason why.. there is WAY too much torque on the front wheels from the MG2. Trac has been on all Prius' since the beginning because the engineers found that they had to dampen the spinning wheels or they'd/we'd run out of rubber in a week  . There's 295 lb-ft of torque on the front wheels from the first instant. For comparison the Camry 4c get ~165 lb-ft of torque in the 5000+ rpm range.

Go out on a wet slick pavement or painted crosswalk and stomp on it. It'll engage.

VSC is a super set of traction control and ABS plus extra (sensors and intelligence). There is no reason whatsoever that an automaker would supply VSC w/o traction control. It is just never heard of yet. (at least to me).

It clearly states the Traction Control there.
