Does she give a reason? The Honda Fit and the PC are really really close.

I just purchased a 2013 Fit for my parents. They love it.

The Fit EV is kind of interesting, but its low availability and the fact that you are forced to lease it are dealbreakers for me.

The Fit is a lot more versatile in terms of cargo space. Folding down the seats creates a heck of a lot more carrying capacity than my C. Even with the seats not folded it has more space in the back.

Plus the Fit is "zippy" - that's what she and her sister say.

I like my C - rides better than her Fit. Even she says the C is smoother - but she still prefers her Fit.

    YMMV.

Yeah my Fit is lot more responsive and roomier. But it's also lot louder and of course gas guzzler.

The base fit is slower than the PC and the top model is only a second faster than the C. 11.5 vs 10 vs 11. Fit as 20.6 cu ft of internal space and the PC has 17.1, both with seats up. Can't find the info with the seats down.

The last time I checked, all versions of the Fit have the same 0-60 times. They all use the same engine and get the same fuel economy (at least in the North America models--other regions have different engine options). The MT version goes worse on the highway than the AT though.

With the seats folded down, the Fit gets around 57.2 cubic feet. It appears Toyota doesn't publish the equivalent figure for the C.

You can buy nice custom seat covers for less than the cost of adding softex.
