just last week i bought a 2007 prius from a local dealership in Houston. The check engine light recently turned on and had it checked out by an autoparts store. The codes they read were the p1116 and p1121 (issues with the coolant valve). I know it would cost around $500 to replace the valve, and im not wanting to pay that much, especially since i just bought the car. I'd also be willing to fix it myself if i had some guide or step by step instructions... If anyone has any had this problem before, and you know how i could fix it or try something less expensive? thanks, i appreciate the input

Why not take it back to the STEALER and tell them to fix it ? How long have you owned it for ?

I got it on Monday, but do you think the dealer is going to do anything about it since i've already bought it?

You should have some kind of warranty, unless you purchased it AS IS ?
