There is an entire nuther way to use cannabis.

    Actually, there are several.

You can juice the fresh plant. As long as it remains unheated, you do not get active THC. You do get lots of the other phyto -stuff, and Endocannabidoids and -doils, which help with inflammation and pain. CBD is the big one here... almost entirely pain relief, very little psychoactive effects.

You can use edibles, which is helpful for some, not so much for others. Dosage, unless you are making your own, is difficult to determine, and can vary widely.

You can use it topically. The essential plant oils, mixed into carrier base, will provide local pain relief.

You can make tea from it. Like all other healing herbs, it does provide some value in this way. You won't get it hot enough with boiling water to activate the THC, btw. So, no getting "high". This is great for insomnia.

You can vaporize it. This is the far most effective way, and has been an absolute godzsend. No harmful byproducts at all, and all the various endocannabidoids available - none destroyed by combustion.

On the subject of smoking pot, however... there are enough long-term studies from other countries showing that risk from smoking pot is about the same as a non-smoker's. Tobacco smokers that also smoke pot have lower risk, though not as low as non-smokers.
