Purchased a new Prius Four today from a SoCal dealer. Did almost all the work by email. Options included were carpet mats, cargo mat, rear bumper applique and illuminated doorsills.

    MSRP: $29803
    Price: $25908 ($3895 off MSRP or 13%)
    Doc fee: $80
    Tax: $2079
Registration, license, other CA fees: $283
    Out the door: $28350

Got in on the zero down, 0% 60 month financing. 60 payments of $472.50, 1st payment due on 9/24/13.

Also got in on the $1000 gas card from HSN, will be mailing my docs in pronto.

Congrats on the car! I am waiting for my new Prius C to get here early next week! How did you get in on the HSN gas card? Did you request a packet the day they ran it or can toyota help?

Thanks and congratulations on your new C! I ordered the gas card packet and tumbler from HSN on 6/29, just got lucky to see it offered that day.

Have an offer in the Bay Area for a Grey Prius Three with the solar moonroof, mats and rear bumper applique :

    $25,070 + TTL
    $26,704.25 OTD w/o 0%/60mo financing ($1000 rebate)
    $27,704.25 OTD w/0%/60mo financing (no $1000 rebate)

Thinking of taking the latter ($27,704.25 w/0%/60mo financing)

    Any thoughts?

Nevermind, I didn't see what you were doing with the numbers.

Even if you got a good loan elsewhere, like 1.9%, you'd pay $1309 on 26704. So in your case, the 0% would save you some money.

I see you also posted at Edmunds where I also answered. I got my Four at Toyota of Escondido. Used Carwoo and USAA car buying service to get quotes and I also contacted a dealer who was referred in this forum at Tustin Toyota (Orange County). Tustin had the best price and I was ready to buy from them, but Escondido matched their price plus threw in the applique and illuminated door sills so I bought from them since they're much closer to home. PM me if you want the Tustin contact - he is no-nonsense, quotes OTD prices.

I purchased a new base model 2013 Prius Three in Barcelona Red in Annapolis, Maryland this week for $25,503.36 out the door (including T&T, dealer fees, etc.). I paid via personal check. All the negotiation was completed via email, then I went into the dealership to sign papers.

I also live in San Diego and am considering buying a Prius Two if I can get a low enough price. Sounds like Tustin and Escondido are the local favorites for some of the higher end Prii. Should I expect that to be true for the Two too? (Couldn't resist the tongue twister, but it's a serious question. )

Did you try Carwoo? I was offered a lower price through there about 3 weeks ago. Diane's thread on pricing said some dealer incentive went away and I think that was close to her most recent price.

I just went on there. WOuldn't let me pick the solar package.

Would you let me know what a "lower price" is? Because the offer I put up there, is a dealer 1.7 miles from my house. If you guy have a better #, I can offer it (as I haven't countered) their offer yet.

I saw Dianne has some 2012 left overs, shouldnt those be real cheap, since 2014 are out soon?
