I'm looking for a good source to purchase some touch up paint for my Prius V.

Yes, parked it at the movie theatre and some knucklehead nailed the rear bumper, driver's side. Did not leave a note either. Looked horrible....lots of black scuff marks. But managed to buff out most of them out. Only the very deep scrapes remain where the paint was rubbed off. Of course, it's black color underneath the paint.....very noticeable.

So I need a good source for touch up paint for the bumper and metal body panels. Is the dealer the best bet? Amazon? Other online retailer?

    I have a Prius v model 5 in Silver.

    Thanks in advance!

Can't go wrong with the Toyota/Lexus factory touch up bottles.

I have the touch up paint from Toyota... dealer states it has the clear coat mixed in... Works really well on my 4Runner, on the Blizzard Pearl I notice it needs more coats than with any other color to get it to look more white... I had a small stone chip on the lower side skirt, damn rock got kicked up... its at the most bottom portion but I know its there lol... but I've always found the best results with the OEM Dealer Touch Up Paint...

My dealer gave them to me for all our cars as I asked nicely... ;) (y)

Yeah, thats what they said.... but I know when I had my VW and BMW, they dealer touch up paint came with its separate clear coat touch up to put over the touch up paint so it would match the car...

Toyota dealer claims the clear coat is already mixed in with the paint to eliminate the need to apply a second coat etc.

I typically will wax around the area that needs a touch up and then apply so it looks a little cleaner...

Toyota touch up paint comes with a pin tip and brush to handle the various sizes of stone chips etc.

Notes on the factory touch up paint applicator state it requires a supplemental application of clear coat.

Yep, that's why Toyota also sells clearcoat.

I still have the clearcoat tube from the VW. On light scratches on my Prius, it works better than the color touch-up to make scratches disappear.
