Up for sale we have 4 Toyo Proxes A20 215/50/R17 tires that came off my 2012 Prius V. One tire has a patch due to a nail, but it was repaired by Butler Tire here in Atlanta. These tires have been on my car for roughly 15K miles.

Since they came off the car, they have been stored in the garage in bags on a tire rack. Asking price is $500.

Have you looked up what the dealership and TireRack wants for these tires? Over $250 per tire. This would be a great set of tires for someone who wants an OEM set, but doesn't want to pay full retail prices (almost $1100 for all 4.) And these should last a Prius V many miles.

I have to agree with you on your pricing....Sometimes one does not realize the value of a used premium OE tire...
FWIW I've have a set in the pvt.sale forum with about the same miles INCLUDING the OE "v"5 wheels and sensors for only $500 more and have had no inquires including anyone "dissing" my asking price...If I would have keep my OE 17"ers, I would be all over your tires as a backup......Oh well had to vent...good luck

Thanks for the kind words Club. Saw your post as well and made me think for a few seconds too. I'm honestly shocked at how much the tires are going for at retail pricing...

I probably should have put in the OP OBO, but I was hoping that readers would have seen the "Asking price is $500" as an opening to make offers. I definitely did not list them at $500 firm for a reason though.

Good luck with your sale. You've got a good deal going there for someone who wants to upgrade their entire wheel/tire package...I'm surprised it hasn't sold yet.

They cost a lot new but the only redeeming quality for this tire is the mpg which is about the best we know of. The drawbacks are the handling, noise, ride and longevity are poor and they are prone to blowouts compared to competing tires like the Primacy MXM4 or PureContact. Those tires are about $500-$600 brand new. Just something to consider if no one picks these up or you continue to get inappropriate replies.

The picture is not very clear. Could you list the tread depth in 32nds?

FWIW, these are the most fuel efficient tires I know of in this size.
