Congrats! Got my Seaside last Friday... I am still trying to read all the info. Love it so far myself.. I almost feel like I'm driving a video game!

 

It sounds like you already made your purchase, so if you want leather now you will be talking Third Party leather. If you do that, you will have a choice of a wide array of colors... just make sure the quality of leather is good... maybe you can get a look at a sample first.

And Congrats on your new car..... I love my Barcelona.. I'm sure you will too.

If the Battery Meter is the only thing you haven't found much info on, then I must be clueless, 'cause after reading the manual, I have more questions than I did before reading it.

I, as well as others here, have found that the manuals are pretty much useless.
Using the search feature on this site, I've been able to get just about every question answered that I've had. If that fails, you can post a question and I'm sure someone will help you out. There's a great bunch of folks here.

Also John's Prius Page has a HUGE amount of info that is awesome. Spend some time there, you won't believe it.

Isn't the red just gorgeous! Congratulations. I absolutely love mine. I agree with you about the interior color. Mine is the "bisque" cloth interior. I would have preferred the grey, but was just thrilled that they found my first exterior color choice with my options (actually, I got bumped up two packages...with a discount). I will probably get seat covers at some point (there's already a red fleece blanket on the back seat for the dog).

 

Congratulations on your new Prius!!! I just picked up my Black Prius last Wednesday, so I'm still adjusting to it and learning how to drive it in order to maximize mpg's.

 

Congrats on your barcelona red. I have a barcelona red also. first thing i bought for it is black GT seat covers(not happy with the tan interior). I've had my prius for a week now and a half now. I love it!!!!

 

Congatulations on your new purchase. My wife and I picked up our new Prius about a month ago and still learning all the new technology. All I know is the more we drive it the more we more we love it. I wish you nothing but success and pleasure with your new prius.

 

Congrats on the Barcelona red..I too have the Barcelona with factory tan leather. It took my dealer in NY 5 weeks to get it but I love it! I drove it straight from the dealer to a detailer who installed the 3m protective film and tinting windows and installing mud guards....Can't wait to get it back hopefully Saturday.....

Sorry to hear you are waiting so long. I just got my 2006 Prius in Black a couple weeks ago. Needles to say, I love the car. I only waited about 2 weeks for the car, and I did not pay any dealer prep or markups over MSRP (and they threw mats in at no extra cost). The sales person at this dealership was great!

I haven't even put any protectant on the paint yet and I can wash the car and dry it with a chamois and I am amazed at the smooth squeaky silky surface that just demands comments from onlookers! No one can look at it without either commenting or starring!.....

The Red just glows in the eve. and in the daylight sparkles like a jewel!
