Average MPG not showing

    Yeah when you are in trip A or B you can see the real time AVG MPG to the right of the millage being displayed

    Thank you all, I see what you are talking about now ( on shutoff and on the trip A/B screen ). From what I can see the mpg numbers change everytime you shutoff and restart the car so the mpg numbers are for each seperate trip you make. I'm not sure yet if the avg. mpg on the shut-off screen is each trip or for this tank of gas.
    The reading on my 2008 would fluctuate as you drive but it didn't zero out until you refilled the tank or pressed the reset.

    Shutdown screen is just for that trip, as for the CONS on the trip meters, just reset one of those when you fill up and that will track your mileage for the tank.

    I have a 2010. There is no tank average on the gen III display screens as as far as I know.. What I do is to reset Trip B at zero whenever I fill up. In that way, I know what mileage I got from that tankload.

    and if your looking for current mpg as you drive, it's analog now instead of digital like gen II. there is a gauge in the middle of the steering wheel.
