My Prius does not look like every other one now!!!

    Usually I have found that people that don't like 2-tone paint on cars did not grow up in the 50's-60's eras when 2-tone was popular, you are entitled to your own opinions but I don't have a problem finding my Prius in a crowded parking lot or see it coming and going on streets or highways like you folks do with yours!

    I have no problem finding mine in a parking lot. I can't see it on the Highway though, because I'm driving it. ;)

    i grew up in the 50s and 60s and I still do not like it on the prius the way it is done. may like it more if it had some shape to it.

    I like it a lot! Kudos for making it unique. Have you considered a stripe such as Metalman suggested? I think a thin black vinyl stripe might make it pop even more. Should be easy for you to do. No matter what it looks great!

    There is a 1/16" black pin stripe at the paint join line but you have to be close to see it, thanks

    The 2-tone is okay. Please take off that "Type-R" emblem. It's hideous! It's a toyota not a honda.

    I loved the weinermobile! My first impression of the two tone was to shout "Taxi!".

    On my way home today I saw two different two-tone Prius taxis but I couldn't get pics of either one to post here... I tried.

    What I SHOULD have said, is that if my Car looked like that, I'd be HAPPY to lose it in a parking lot ;) That choice of scheme is not for me.

    For the people that don't like the two tone, is it because of the two colors he chose or just don't like the idea of the two tone?

    Not enough people seem to be pointing this out so I'll say it again with a reply from my new friend A.Reyes. Seriously dude, take the Type-R badge off.

    Probably a little of both. IMO, Blizzard Pearl along with Blue Ribbon metallic are two of the nicest colors on the Prius.

    So if the top was BRM, that would look sweet. ;)

    Today I saw a Navy Blue angels themed car. Had Navy, and Blue Angels graphics and everything. The combination of the dark blue and dark yellow looked great.

    Just FYI, you may be violating a Honda trademark by using the Type R badges. It's an unauthorized use of their logo, intended for use only on Acura/Honda performance models. Not sure they'd gripe about it but I'm just warning you they might, if it catches the attention of one of their bigshots. Be careful. However, rest of car looks great!

    Looks cool! I would have left the mirror caps white and painted the lower front air dam the dark color. Painted wheels to match the dark color would work to. The R Type badge has to go, it takes away from the look. Try a classy F Type badge instead. Enjoy YOUR ride!
