Recent v 5 prices

Price doesn't seem to wiggle much. You're more likely to get concessions on a trade or dealer fees than on the actual retail price. Cars with the ATP are pretty scarce, so you take what you can get.

Actually, it is a a v 5 with ATP. msrp was $37000 like the one the OP quoted. here is link.

In my zip code it's 14.42% off sticker, for a v Five with ATP, I also didn't pay a dealer fee and got windows tinted.

 

We just bought a 2013 Prius v (Metallic Sky Blue) with ATP, cargo & floor mats for $33K in central Ohio.

We had six (6) Toyota dealers in a 85 mile radius willing to bid on our model. Some dealers, at the end of back and forth communications, were indicating that they might go a few dollars lower, but they did not have this exact model in their current inventory and said they needed to base a lower price on their strong negotiations with other out of state dealers with our specifications for that exact model and color. They also said that they might give us more for our two 1995 trade ins, but we did not want to drive these cars to the dealers only be possibly disappointed by the used car manager that would not hold up the new car salesman promises. We have had that happen, like a switch & bait and then you have to decide to walk, or take the deal. We knew exactly what we wanted for the trade ins and this was not a negotiation point. Lowering the new car price was what we wanted to lock & load.

We went with a reputable local Toyota dealer (15 miles away) that had the exact car we desired in inventory, the lowest formal pricing, and had met our used car number. The Prius v was on the showroom floor car with only 3 miles on the odometer, the dealer offered free oil changes for 2 years, and free car washing service for life.

One question; is the picture of the v in your Fuelly badge your actual v? The ATP package is supposed to have the moon roof - right? The car in the picture does not.

 

Good catch! I snagged a stock photo online since I haven't had a chance to take a picture with the new car. I have updated the photo, now it is me & my baby!

 

I like the Sky Blue color, but Barcellona Red was my favorite and the dealer was able to locate one. They only had a v5 in dark gray which didn't suit me well. I would have settled for white or light blue if red was not available.

 

I snagged a "slightly used (6000 miles)" V5 ATP for just over $27 from a Lexus dealer that was the exact color and package I was searching for. Super happy! Got them to agree to throw in window tint, the missing cargo mat, and reprogram the moonroof and reverse for me.
