One beep after car tuned off

    Every thing runs fine, when I turn the car off it beeps once.

    I had bought this car new, it never used to do that.

    Recently took it to dealership for oil change & service person said the beep should go away after oil chage.

    Had connected a CAN anayser did not see any error codes.

    Has anybody noticed this problem.

    On my car, it means the sunroof is open. Does yours have a sunroof that isn't closing securely, or has a limit switch problem?

    If it's the same as previous model of Prius, the beep means your smart key battery is low.

    Same thing happened to me on my 2008 Prius. One beep at shutdown was a low smart key fob battery.
