    Looks great. I would like my rear emblem done with red, as I have a red reflective background on it. How do we go about sending and paying?

    Hi a few questions on booking them up. In the above pics it appears that the black shrink tubing is going to interfere with the little snap clip for the emblem...is this correct.
    Can you give us a small write up about which wires you tapped and using what method? Wire taps, electrical tape etc...

    Also, there is no mention how you adhered the el wire to the badge? It appears that you used a hot glue gun? Was this it? Also where and how did you fasten the mini transformer? Did you tape it somewhere or just let it hang? Most importantly which cavity/opening did you pass the wire through? The provided shrink wrapping appears too big to fit through any of the clips holes..

    My car is all taken apart, hope I can wrap this up tomorrow!

    Arek- Did I make one up for you? I have lost track.. sorry about that!

    I attach the el wire to the innards with hi temp hot glue. This is the easiest way I have found to get a secure adherence, and have it dry fast enough that I can keep it in place.
    While it may look like the shrink wrap interferes with the clip, it does not. It is placed on the top side to allow it to pass through the black mounting place on the front emblem, and I trim the rear emblem to allow it to fit snug, but pass through the rear trim panel. I have a whole write up that explains removal, installation, and connection. I will attach it to this post for anyone to reference.

    I just drilled a 3/8" hole through the lower square mount for the back emblem. Hole goes through the back door right above the license plate lights. It is big enough to put the wired emblem with plug straight through, then connect the plugs, attach the transformer inside the door, and connect the wiring. Of course, mine is wired to the 3rd brake light, so I had previously brought wiring down into rear door panel. So, I never needed to completely take back door panels off. Take a small file to smooth out the hole coming through door and protect wires with electrical tape and all is well! jmrmotorhead does a very professional installation to the emblem! Thanks.

    Hi guys, Sorry I've been off the forum for a while. I did a ton of these a while back, everyone seemed happy, except I had issues with mine. It seems the newer inverter box was prone to failure. I replaced all of the faulty ones for the people I did these for, but lost a ton of money because of this. I am in the process of contacting the company to find out of they have gone back to the older design, or if not what inverter I could use to prevent the failing. Once this is figured out I'd love to start making them again for you all! Feel free to email me, I will get back to you faster that way! [email protected]
