    Nautical Blue...favorite color...good advice..thanks.
anyway...going for our second Prius...if we knew this ahead of time we should have done it all at once for possible better leeway in pricing..am now offered 2013 Prius v Five...no advanced tech package...no moonroof...for $28000 + 7%tax +DMV350 +120 doc fee. How does this sound?

I have been all over the place looking and offering and counteroffering...crunching numbers...but I think this is an OK deal...Star Toyota in Queens NY had the lowest prices so far I thought and this dealer is close to their prices..and closer to us in location ... don't need to go into the city :)

what do you all think? go for it and rest my head? or keep trying?

not in a major rush yet...just turned in Accord lease (bad deal) but have the other Prius and a 2003 Pilot on it's last leg (was good to us for 13 years!).

I paid $26k for my v 5. I first bought the v3 and owned it maybe 9 months and then bought the v5. There is no difference in the ride or the mileage. I love the v5. My lil one doesn't like the seats as they get hot in the summer and cold in the winter but I took a small blanket and put 2 holes where the headrest would be and it holds the blanket in place so my lil one stays warm in winter and cool in summer. Trade in is horrible on these though... I bought mine 1 year ago for $26k and trade in is $19k. Worst trade in I have seen and I have owned over 24 vehicle's.
