    This is going to be cool. Anybody particularly good at photography to get pictures of the meet? I have a dSLR camera but am not really good at using it.

    Utica Mi here but I commute to Southfield every darn day for work.

    I'd like to meet up but am working that weekend and the weekend after. I do have the 3rd, 4th and 5 th off. Anyway, sounds like fun.

    Well folks, here it is May 10 and we don't have a consensus on when to meet. Meeting would be at St Clair Metro Park, but when? And can somebody arrange reservations for a site? I've never been there, so I don't know what's available. Weather for this weekend is going to be cool...more so Sunday than tomorrow. Also, Sunday is Mother's day and the wife will expect a more private outing.

    At this point I'm going to suggest Sunday the 19th...maybe about 1 pm 'til whenever. Providing someone who knows the area will volunteer to reserve a site...however that is done.

    The only reservations they accept to my knowledge are covered picnic shelters and that costs $200.

    Unless it's going to rain, we just need some tables or some such. Do you just show up and stake out a picnic area?

    Pretty sure you don't need a reservation at the Metro Parks unless you have a very large group, plan on bbq-ing, play music, etc.

    Yes, definitely planning on still doing this.

    Lets shoot for Saturday October 19th at Lake St. Clair Metroparks. We can meet there at noon, and then go grab some food after at a local place (TBD). Last I checked, its $4 per car to get in, and the place is pretty cool.

    Sound good? :D Ill bring my Canon EOS!
