 I found out that the car will run w/o the MAF plugged in but in limp mode - never full power - with a pulsing throttle while testing intakes. Wouldn't really call it redline-mod if your not hitting redline.

    Ended up with this..

My prius adventures had come to an end because after a year i had to give it back to my dad.
I myself had created a Cold Air Intake. I used a vacuum tube and put it to the air filter box can ran it to the front grill. Not only was i getting cold air... The faster i went the more air i was getting forced into my intake.

I agree, for entirely different reasons. The kid who pimps out his car is interested in investing himself and his money into a car, which ultimately makes the car uniquely his. That same kid will figure out this is stupid, and that is not. This looks cool, this will earn me a wedgie at the next car meet. If he keeps the hobby, that kid will grow into a car guy. That car guy will have developed that passion by messing around with things that we find laughable. C'm on, tell me you haven't done something in your youth that is both laughable and awesome!

I wrote the book on laughable things done by youths.
    BTDT... :)

One of the better things about being older (Shaw was right...youth is wasted on the young!) is that you get to be the one who laughs when somebody jacks their ride up.
Funny thing...when I was a kid....jacking up your ride meant something different.... :)
One of the other cool things about being a little older is that LEO has a whole new breed of kids with rides that scream "PULL ME OVER!!! I DARE YOU!!!!"

...and meanwhile I get to roll hassle-free! :D

For a little while, I was restoring a '85 Cadillac Brougham. I joked I was going to put 20" spinners on it, redo the paint as purple with gold flecks, heavily tint the windows, and call the car "Rollin' P.C." :ROFLMAO:

Reminds me of that Steve Mcqueen movie when they rig up the jeep to sound like a tank. You should should set the ignition timing off and paint it military green.
