    Hello,

I am trying to buy a Prius for my wife.
She is going to school 3 days a week for the next year or so and the drive is about 90 miles each way.
I'll be driving it to work the other 2 days of the week with about 25 miles each way.
Yeah my gas bill is crazy!

Well either way I am trying to pick the best time to get the best price on a car from a dealer.
So far I got this quote.

    2013 Toyota Prius Two
    MSRP: $25289
    INTERNET DISCOUNT: $3028
    TOTAL: $22261
    REBATE: $500
    TOTAL: $21761

And I am trying to figure out when Prius 2014 will start showing up so I can help them clear the lot of them old 2013's if you know what I mean. :)

Thoughts , suggestions? I am in Ohio.

    Thanks!

I would suggest a model 3 over a 2. I found the best time to buy is the last Friday or Saturday of the month, walk in about 1 hour before closing and give it your best shot. In truth however your price on a 2 is only $600 more than I paid for my 2011 model 2 and I felt I got a good deal. At 21700+ there is not much meat left on the bone, especially if you can get 0% interest. The 3 should cost about another grand. Good luck!

    Thanks for the info.
Did you use any Cash rebates in the offer?
I am thinking I am going to email my offer to the rep and give her time to think on it.
    Would $22.2k on a 3 be reasonable I assume. ?

Hmm, I do see they offer 0%, I was going to go for 2.49 my local CU offering for 72m, but might go for 0%. Main reason is that I am the only source of income for the family now.
