Wife went to work and noticed this blue liquid where she parks. Any idea what this could be? Initial thoughts was washer fluid but why would that leak? Can't diagnose car till she gets back home from work.

Taste testing is the easiest way to go.

It does not look like one of the essential fluids.
    ATF - red
    Coolant - pink
    Oil - brown or black
Brake fluid - clear or blue and oily
It looks like washer fluid. If it is brake fluid be worried.
I looked at the pic again. It's not brake fluid because it looks like the puddle is half evaporated.

I'm going to stick my neck out and say it's not from your wife's car at all. Toyota fluids are, by design, generally pink (including brake fluid) or oil coloured in the case of engine oil. Those stains are not.

Looks like washer fluid to me. Maybe it from another car parked there or maybe she used the washers and it dripped down. Afterall, it has to go somewhere before it evaporates.

Okay so I just learnt that the Australian 'c' has the brake fluid reservoir over on what is the driver's side for us, whereas the rest of the engine bay is laid out the same as the North American 'c'. Also, for some reason the Australian manual doesn't seem to think brake fluid is user-serviceable and doesn't contain the instructions for removing the panel above the reservoir, which the US manual has.

Photos online of both the US model and the Australian model seem to be similar to my own, showing the brake fluid to be a pale light green colour.

Brake fluid color could change if the vehicle got a brake fluid flush. Many shops use blue brake fluid to help identify that a flush has been performed.

Thanks everyone! It was great learning all the different fluids of this car.

She's the only one that parks there but I think you hit it on the head about using the washer. I talked to her and she said she used a bunch of it a couple mins before pulling in the garage.

Just went and looked at mine and the brake fluid is as shown.

The last time I thought I had an issue with fluid leaking from my car my dealer asked what colour it was. I replied bright green, to which he replied then it's not your car because all fluids (except oil) are pink, which they were at the time.
