mine went in too wild charging sprees once or twice before the hybrid check came on it also came back on after the fault got dismissed by the technician a cpl times after the initial warning until the replacement part came in ... i ended up driving the car for a good 2000 miles like that until changed . now i know that had some effect on the rest of the hybrid system . i really hope nothing permanent because the car would not give me a ready start on the go order a day or 2 later . finally got it on the third attempt and only drove 5 minutes to see how shes running and the next i knew the check hybrid warning came on again parked it, i didn't work that day Sunday being and all , the next day i went strait to the dealers mec shop he ran some codes trough it by phone assistance the car 4 days later hasn't had the warning come back on yet...he also told me he will be calling me back on this fault and hasn't yet .
good people at the shop but somethings up . still waiting on the programmer to reprogram upload new logismico .

    what a mess !

Socrates, what's the condition of your 12v? Did the dealers leave the doors open when fitting the new HV and ran the 12v down? If it's the original with high miles it might be shot?

Because yours is ok and Prius never go wrong - apparently? If that's the case, do you want to buy mine? Only 80,000 miles and no accidents.

your more than welcomed to. 25 per hour.3,20 the minimum on the short rides could go as high as 5-5.5euro with traffic congestion but you don't have to wait for the hop on hop of and just hop straight to the sites you pick to see .

had to get the facts in xaxxaaaaa

p.s. 5-50 euro is about 20 min in to that same ride that costs 3.20euros that only takes 5-10 minutes . just to get a scope of what we are going through here in Greece.

Interesting. The NHW11 maintenance manual describes a manual, discharge-charge cycle used to diagnose a marginal traction battery. The protocol:
    • block the rear wheels so the car can not roll
    • connect a Techstream OBD monitor (i.e., Prius aware scanner)
    • shift into "R" and monitor the traction battery module voltages down to a low SOC
    • shift into "P" (or if front wheels are blocked, "D") and let engine recharge traction battery
    • not mentioned, holding brake and flooring accelerator to put a forced charge on battery
I have not tested this with our 2010 Prius, yet. I'll let you know what I find.

Please post the shop name and contact information. We're always looking for independent Prius shops to recommend for repairs. Word of mouth, the best advertising.

The Queen Killa Bee is at @165,000 miles, 130,000 as a taxi here in Denver CO. Never had to fix something that I didn't brake. I love my Prius.

Good heavens, that story read more like a soap opera than a history of Denver's taxi industry. What a cast of characters engaging in political shenanigans and cut-throat competition!
Nice pic of Queen Bee, but it looked like the windshield was fractured --was that an optical illusion? Good luck hacking!
