See what we have here. We have first a Prius, which is mine. Second, a 90’s Mazda, definitely not an EV. Third, a VW, neither an EV.

We have a term for the the other two parking spots: getting ICE'd. ICE= Internal Combustion Engine and in this meaning for parking spots ICE=non-plug in's.

Do you have a plug in conversion?

We got to get you a PiP (Plug In Prius).
Do you have some plug-ins over there?

I love the mural! Happy to see that Hong Kong is having fun and dressing up the parking spaces.

I lived in Japan for nearly 5 years (I was there when the first Prius was released!). Japan puts quite a bit into colorful, public art. Even small things like decorating a charging station or a bus stop.

We have issues with ICEing at EV charge points. The usual excuse from the owners of the car park is that no body uses the chargers so we let anyone park there. EV users can't use them as there's always an ICE there.

Perhaps if a dozen EVers got together and 'parked' at some petrol pumps, that might get the issued in the news :) Just gotta be brave!

Yes, I’ve an Enginer conversion 4kw kit. That’s why I always need to look for a charger!

Too bad that PiP is not yet lanched officially in HK, due to someone is too lazy to prove to the government that “the charging system is sutable to be used in HK power grid.”

    Ugh re: the ICEing.
I know there are a couple Leafers in Hong Kong.

You could add your pic to ICE shaming.

In HK, no incentive for people to buy EV. The dealer for some EV is selling nearly double price. To take an example, leaf is around USD25000~USD30000, the leaf price is selling by dealer around USD$50500. It is crazy.
