So did I... ;) After the beep and blink you have ~1.5 gallons left... at 50 mpgs... that's a minimum of 50 miles left. :D

    Gotcha! Thanks for the info!

So my tire pressure light came on. I filled all the tires up to 35psi. Was still on afterwards. Where and what does this tire reset button I here about ominous these forums. Saw a button that was clear as day and then I saw 2 holes in the plastic near it but not sure if there is buttons in them?.

That's easy. It's in the manual and describes how to reset it. :)

I have a thread asking about how far can you go on the last blinking bar. So far my best has been about 68 miles, and I do pay attention to not run out. My fillups have been about 10.2 to 10.5 gallons (I fill to the nozzle).

I'm a chicken sh"t. Two bars and I'm looking for a gas station. Ran out of fuel once in 1965, mid-night, out in the middle of nowhere in Indiana, never again, and I mean it.

Welcome to the club! I'm living mine! Filled up for $24.57 yesterday. It felt great! Also had gotten 437 miles on that tank. The last bar was blinking but turns out I still had 1.2 gallons left. I have been trying to push it lil by little. I wanna get over 500miles on a tank eventually. Prob won't happen till spring or summer when it's warner tho.

There's no harm filling it more often. Down here we have these crazy fuel price cycles so I'm prompted by trying to predict the low point of each cycle to buy fuel and not by how much fuel I have left. Mine therefore almost never gets so low and I'm never striving for distance records.

My record fill was from a weekend trip from Sydney to Canberra and back, where it took 30.23l (7.99 US gal). It was just down to one bar and limited claimed range remaining, but had not beeped or started flashing at me.

Congrats to the new Prius owners! I try to do the same as Rob.au, filling up when I think the price is the cheapest…doesn't always work out that way, as I do anywhere from 250-300 miles per week & end up having to fill up sometimes at high prices…but in the end, I use the GasBuddy app for iPhone & end up getting the cheapest I can find at the time.
